Sen. John Fetterman discusses mental health struggles and recovery.

Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., spoke about his mental health and recovery from depression during a recent interview with CBS News. Fetterman, who suffered a stroke ahead of Election Day and checked himself into Walter Reed for depression in mid-February, said he will be going home in remission with his depression. He explained how depression can convince you that you lost, even when you objectively won, and how he had stopped leaving his bed, eating, and engaging in things he loved. Fetterman's doctors at Walter Reed also discovered a serious hearing deficit further complicating how his brain processes spoken language.
