Ohio Surgeon 'Dr. Roxy' Loses Medical License for TikTok Livestreams

Dr. Katharine Grawe, known as @doctorroxy on TikTok, had her medical license permanently revoked by the Ohio Medical Board after botching surgeries and causing harm to three patients. Grawe frequently livestreamed surgeries on TikTok, prioritizing her social media presence over patient care. Patients experienced complications such as skin tears and infections. Grawe had been warned about privacy concerns regarding live-streaming surgeries since 2018. She is no longer allowed to practice medicine in Ohio.
