Ohio Bans Plastic Surgeon for Livestreaming Procedures on TikTok

Dr. Katherine Roxanne Grawe, also known as "Dr. Roxy," had her state medical license permanently revoked by the Ohio Medical Board after it was determined that she harmed patients while livestreaming their surgeries on TikTok. Grawe neglected her patients as she livestreamed their procedures, spoke into a camera, and answered viewer questions. The board had previously warned Grawe about her actions in 2018, citing concerns over patient privacy and ethics violations. Several patients suffered severe complications and required intense medical care after Grawe operated on them, including one patient who experienced a perforated intestine and bacterial infections.
