Mexico Hotel Deaths Spark Health Concerns for Responders and Guests.

The paramedics who responded to the American couple found dead in their hotel room in Mexico have fallen ill and are now receiving medical care at a private hospital. Fernando Valencia Sotelo and Grisel Valencia Sotelo, who volunteer for the nonprofit Firefighters and Paramedics of Pescadero, are concerned about the long-term health effects they may suffer and face large out-of-pocket expenses that they cannot afford. A fundraiser has been set up to cover the cost of their treatment and compensate them for lost time off work. The Firefighters and Paramedics of Pescadero is supported entirely by donations.
