"2023 Taste of Buffalo: Award-Winning Delights and Insider Picks"

The winners of the 2023 Taste of Buffalo awards were announced at the 40th annual festival, with Days Park Tavern winning the Chair's Choice for their beef brisket on weck. Other winners included India Gate for Children's Choice, Avenue29 Foods for Rookie of the Year, Dirty Bird Chicken N' Waffles LLC for Veteran Restaurant, and Sweet Melody's Gelato for the Eric DuVall Memorial Best of Buffalo. Various food items and beverages were recognized in different categories, including Venus Greek fries for Best Overall Item, Kith & Kin Bakeshop & Bistro for Best Meat Item, and Three Brothers Winery for Best Red Wine. The festival will continue on Sunday in downtown Buffalo.
