Pro-Palestinian Demonstrators Cause Disruptions at Macy's and Detroit Thanksgiving Parades

The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe expressed disappointment after a Palestinian flag was raised on their float during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. The tribe clarified that they did not endorse the actions and emphasized that they do not take a stance on conflicts overseas. The tribe's governing body and other tribal citizens on the float were not involved in the individual's actions. The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe has inhabited the Massachusetts and Eastern Rhode Island region for over 12,000 years.
