Thomas Matthew Crooks, the suspected gunman in the attempted assassination of former President Trump, appeared in a 2022 ad for asset manager BlackRock. The company has removed the ad and is cooperating with authorities. Crooks, who was bullied in high school, opened fire at a Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, wounding Trump and killing one spectator before being fatally shot by the Secret Service.
