YouTuber confesses to crashing plane for online fame and sponsorships.

California YouTuber Trevor Jacob admitted to intentionally crashing his plane in November 2021 to garner views for his channel and make money from a sponsorship deal. He pleaded guilty to one felony count of "destruction and concealment" and could face a maximum 20-year prison sentence. Jacob's pilot license was revoked in April 2022. He initially denied purposely crashing the plane but later admitted to it in a plea deal. Jacob is set to make an initial court appearance in the coming weeks.
