US Politician Acquitted of Airport Firearms Charge in Hong Kong Court

Wilson, who claimed it was an "honest mistake," was given a 24-month "bind-over" where the charge was withdrawn and he agreed to a good behavior order. The court cited Wilson's self-declaration at customs and his admission of possessing the firearm by mistake as factors in the decision. Wilson's firearm was confiscated, and he apologized for the concern caused.
