Tragic Stabbing Attack Claims Life of 8-Year-Old Boy, Leaves Mother Injured

An 8-year-old boy was killed and his mother seriously injured in a stabbing attack in Plainfield, a Chicago suburb. The mother called 911, reporting that her landlord had attacked her with a knife. When police arrived, they found the suspect with a laceration to his forehead. The victims had multiple stab wounds, and the boy was pronounced dead at the hospital. The suspect was treated and released from the hospital and is currently being questioned by the police. The investigation is ongoing, and no charges have been filed yet.
