Tragic Motorcycle Crashes Claim Lives in Multiple Florida Counties

A motorcyclist in Geneva, Florida, was killed when an alleged drunk driver crashed into him. The driver, Michael Thompson, has been charged with two counts of DUI manslaughter. The victims, a 65-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman, were pronounced dead at the scene. The man's daughters spoke of their devastation, revealing that he had spoken to one of them on the phone just before the crash. Thompson's car collided with the motorcycle after failing to see it while the motorcycle was turning left. Another car then collided with the motorcycle, causing a second impact. Thompson and his 9-year-old passenger were uninjured, while the driver of the second car sustained minor injuries. The incident is under investigation, and Thompson is scheduled to appear in court.
