Tragic Incident: Virginia Woman Arrested for Fatal Car Incident Involving Baby and Dog

A Virginia woman has been arrested after leaving an 11-month-old baby and a dog in a car for approximately six hours, resulting in their deaths. The caregiver, identified as Kristen Danielle Graham, has been charged with child neglect and animal cruelty. The baby's mother is 17 years old, and Graham had been caring for the child for two days. The incident occurred after Graham received a phone call and left the child and dog in the car while she went inside a residence. The child was found deceased later in the day. The investigation is ongoing, and depending on the autopsy results, the charges could be upgraded to homicide.
