Tragic Discovery: Newborn Girls Found Dead in Streeterville Daycare Bathroom

Two newborn girls were found dead in a daycare facility on the Northwestern Memorial Hospital campus in Streeterville, Chicago. The babies were discovered unresponsive in a bathroom by janitorial staff. They were taken to Lurie Children's Hospital but were pronounced dead. The incident occurred when a staff member experienced a medical emergency resulting in the unexpected delivery of twin babies. The daycare center and hospital have issued statements, clarifying that no daycare children were involved. Area Three detectives are conducting a death investigation.
