Tragic Arrests: Mother and Daughter Held Accountable for Infant Deaths in California Daycare Pool

Two women running a daycare in California have been arrested and charged with felony child endangerment resulting in death and criminal negligence after two toddlers drowned in a pool at the facility. The daycare, called Happy Happy Daycare, had four children in its care at the time of the incident, with a fifth about to be dropped off. The owner, Nina Fathizadeh, had left the children unsupervised in a backyard play area next to a pool that had been left accessible due to a gate being propped open. The two women could face up to 16 years in prison if convicted.
