Third Death Row Inmate in Florida Scheduled for Execution

Darryl Barwick, convicted of first-degree murder, armed burglary, attempted sexual battery, and armed robbery, is set to be executed in Florida today. Barwick was found guilty of brutally stabbing a sunbather in 1986 and has been on death row for 36 years. He is the third inmate to be executed in Florida in less than three months. Barwick's execution will proceed unless there is a last-minute reprieve.
