"Tennessee Woman Charged in Death of Fairway Police Officer"

A Tennessee woman, Andrea Rene Cothran, has been charged with aggravated battery, reckless fleeing of law enforcement, felony theft, and reckless driving in connection with the death of Fairway, Kansas, police officer Jonah Oswald. The incident involved a stolen vehicle, a chase, and a shooting, resulting in the death of another suspect. Cothran is set to appear in court on Tuesday, and additional charges may be filed. Officer Oswald, a four-year veteran of the Fairway Police Department, leaves behind a wife and two young children.
