Teen Mom Admits to Discarding Newborn in Hospital Trash Can

A 19-year-old teenage mother, Alexee Trevizo, has been charged with first-degree murder and tampering with evidence after giving birth in a hospital bathroom and hiding her newborn baby boy inside a trash can, where it was later found dead. Trevizo denied ever having sex despite tests revealing she was pregnant. Her attorney claims there are "major discrepancies" about what happened in the hospital and that this isn't a classic child abuse case. This is the second high-profile case involving a teenage New Mexico mother accused of tossing her newborn in the trash.
