Teen Gives Boyfriend Ultimatum to Kill His Mom, Then Does It Herself

A 17-year-old girl in Ohio is being tried as an adult for allegedly bludgeoning her boyfriend's mother to death with a rock. The teenager, Kaitlyn Coones, reportedly gave her boyfriend a five-hour ultimatum to kill his disapproving mother, but when he failed to act, she took matters into her own hands. Coones allegedly beat and strangled Nicole Jones, 53, before disposing of the body with the help of her boyfriend. The pair then fled to Mexico, where they were eventually arrested. Coones is facing charges of murder, aggravated murder, tampering with evidence, and abuse of a corpse, while her boyfriend, Jonathan Jones, is also facing charges in connection with his mother's murder.
