Suspect in Atlanta mass shooting charged and arrested.

A gunman killed one person and injured four others in a mass shooting at an Atlanta medical center waiting room. The suspect, identified as 24-year-old Deion Patterson, was apprehended following an hours-long manhunt and has been charged with one count of murder and four counts of aggravated assault. The surviving victims remain hospitalized. The victim who was killed has been identified as Amy St. Pierre, an employee of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens called for national action to change the way mental health is treated and to keep guns out of the hands of people who should not have them.
