Suspect Identified in Fatal Ambush of Minneapolis Officer

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has identified Mustafa Ahmed Mohamed as the gunman who killed Minneapolis police officer Jamal Mitchell on Thursday. Both Mohamed and Mitchell died in the gunfire, which also resulted in the death of a third person and injuries to four others. The incident occurred while Mitchell was responding to a shooting report and was ambushed while providing medical aid.
