Suspect Arrested in NYC Shooting Rampage, Charged with Murder

Thomas Abreu, a 25-year-old man from Brooklyn, has been charged with murder, attempted murder, and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with a series of shootings that occurred in Queens and Brooklyn. The shooting rampage lasted about 30 minutes and targeted random victims across six different locations. Four people were injured, including an 86-year-old man who was pronounced dead at the hospital. The family of the deceased victim is devastated and calling for justice. Abreu was apprehended by police, and a 9mm pistol with an extended magazine was found in his scooter.
