Spate of Shootings in Grand Rapids Leaves Woman Dead and Child Hospitalized

A woman was found shot dead in the parking lot of an apartment complex in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. The police responded to reports of gunshots and found the woman dead in a silver car in the parking lot. A child under 10 years old was found inside the car with the woman and was not shot. The police believe it was a targeted shooting and there is no danger to the public.
