A second man, Jerry Hal Saliterman, has been charged with theft of Judy Garland's iconic ruby slippers from "The Wizard of Oz" and witness tampering. The slippers were stolen in 2005 and recovered by the FBI in 2018. Saliterman, who appeared in court in a wheelchair and on oxygen, denied the charges. The man who stole the slippers, Terry Jon Martin, pleaded guilty in October and was sentenced to time served due to poor health. The slippers' market value is estimated at $3.5 million, and they are currently being held by an auction house for sale.
