"Scientist Pleads Guilty to Running 'Breaking Bad'-Style Meth Lab After Accidentally Calling Cops on Himself"

Long Island scientist Matthew Leshinsky, 23, pleaded guilty to running a "Breaking Bad"-style meth lab after inadvertently calling the police on himself when he reported a burglary at his lab. The lab was found to be producing methamphetamine and other controlled substances. Leshinsky claimed to be analyzing cannabis, but was found with over 3 ounces of meth, 625,000 milligrams of pure ketamine, and other drug-related items. His lawyer described him as a "brilliant" scientist examining drug addiction for the public good, but Leshinsky pleaded guilty to 13 charges and is set to be sentenced in March.
