Police in San Mateo, California, are searching for a suspect dubbed "Mr. Grinchmas" who was caught on surveillance footage stealing a Christmas tree from a family's SUV in a parking lot. The suspect cut the ropes holding the tree to the roof and loaded it into their own vehicle. The victim was given a new tree by the lot where they originally purchased it. Authorities advise shoppers to protect their packages and avoid leaving them in vehicles during the holiday season. As of now, the suspect remains at large.
