Prosecutors claim 'Rust' weapons expert was hungover during fatal movie set shooting.

The armorer on the set of the movie “Rust” likely loaded a prop gun used by actor Alec Baldwin with a live round of ammunition during a rehearsal, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, because she was hungover and had been drinking heavily and smoking marijuana, prosecutors said in a court filing. The armorer, Hannah Gutierrez Reed, will plead not guilty to two counts of involuntary manslaughter. Involuntary manslaughter charges against Baldwin were dismissed in April due to “new facts” in the case, but the investigation is “active and on-going,” and a final decision on charges against him will be made before August 8.
