Prison Unit Takeover Sparks Emergency Lockdown at Stillwater Prison

Roughly 100 inmates have taken over a living unit inside Stillwater Prison in Minnesota, prompting an emergency lockdown. The inmates are reportedly protesting a lack of access to clean water and have been locked in without ice or showers for days. The Department of Corrections has activated crisis negotiation and special operations teams, while all staff have been removed from the common areas of the unit.
