Eight people have been charged for their involvement in a multi-state burglary ring that stole iconic sports memorabilia, including World Series rings belonging to Yankees legend Yogi Berra and an MVP trophy awarded to slugger Roger Maris. The group operated for decades and targeted museums and institutions across several states, stealing priceless works of art and irreplaceable sports memorabilia. Nicholas Dombek of Thornhurst Township, Pa., is still at large and sought as a fugitive. The investigation is ongoing, and it is unclear what, if anything, has been recovered.
