Police Fatally Shoot Armed Suspect During Auto Burglary in Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Police Department shot and killed an armed man in South Los Angeles after he broke into a vehicle. Responding to a report of a grand theft auto in progress, officers found the suspect inside the victim's vehicle and saw that he was armed with a gun. The police opened fire, striking the suspect, who was later pronounced dead at the scene. No officers or bystanders were injured, and the suspect's gun was recovered as evidence.
