Police fatally shoot 14-year-old with pellet gun in Colorado.

A police officer in Colorado fatally shot 14-year-old Jor’Dell Richardson, who was Black, after chasing him from a suburban Denver store, where he was believed to be involved in an armed robbery with a group of other teens. Police initially said the teen was armed with a semi-automatic gun, but it was later revealed to be a pellet gun. Body camera footage released on Friday shows the officer tackling Richardson to the ground and firing one shot into his abdomen. Richardson's movements were obscured in the video, and an investigation will focus on whether he ever pointed the pellet gun at officers.
