Newport News Child Missing: VSP Issues AMBER Alert

The Virginia State Police and the Virginia Missing Children Clearinghouse have issued an AMBER Alert for 9-year-old Brielle Silver, who was abducted by her non-custodial parent, Bethany Gould, in Newport News on April 15. Brielle is believed to be in extreme danger and was last seen wearing a black tank top, white shorts, and no shoes. They may be traveling in a gray 2005 Mercury Mariner with Tennessee tag, 978BJSC with possible front-end bumper damage on the driver’s side. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Newport News Police Department.
