Multiple Agencies Collaborate in Search for Escaped Homicide Suspect

Warren County District Attorney, Robert Greene, has recused himself from the investigation into the escape of Michael Burham from Warren County Prison. Greene received information suggesting possible involvement of staff members and inmates, and stated that negligence and complacency were the main issues. While no one has been charged besides Burham, Greene believes changes are already being made at the prison. He has asked the state Attorney General to take over the case, but will continue to prosecute the kidnapping charges against Burham.
