The Madison Police Department is searching for a suspect after a hit-and-run incident on the Beltline resulted in the death of a person just before 10:30 p.m. The vehicle, believed to be a blue 2003-2009 Lexus GX 470, was found in Madison on Saturday afternoon, and investigators are seeking information from the community. The victim was not hit while on the side of the road and was not inside a car at the time of the impact.
