Mother of Brian Laundrie offered tools for body disposal.

Brian Laundrie's mother wrote a letter to him offering a shovel and garbage bags if he needed to dispose of a body, according to a letter obtained by Gabby Petito's family. The letter, titled "burn after reading," was released after a judge's ruling in a civil lawsuit filed by Petito's family against the Laundries and their attorney. The Laundries maintain the letter has nothing to do with Gabby Petito. The letter makes no mention of Petito and does not include a date or reference to when it might have been written. The jury trial is slated for May 2024.
