Mother of 'Baby India' arrested 4 years after infant found alive in plastic bag.

The birth mother of "Baby India," a newborn found alive in a plastic bag in Georgia woods in 2019, has been arrested on charges of attempted murder, cruelty to children, aggravated assault, and reckless abandonment. The woman, identified as Karima Jiwani through DNA, allegedly knew she was pregnant with the baby and had a history of concealed pregnancies and "surprise" births. The girl, now approaching her fourth birthday, is said to be "happy, healthy and in a safe place."
