Match.com Date Leads to Murder-for-Hire Plot by Knoxville Woman

Melody Sasser, a woman from Knoxville, Tennessee, has been charged with hiring a hitman through the dark web to murder the wife of a man she met on Match.com. Sasser allegedly made the "order for murder" through the dark web hosted site "Online Killers Market" and used Bitcoin to send money to the account. The victim was informed of the threat to her life, and Sasser is expected to appear in federal court in Knoxville on June 8.
