Pennsylvania State Police have reported a possible sighting of escaped prisoner Danelo Cavalcante near Longwood Gardens, as the search for him enters its eighth day. Surveillance video released earlier showed Cavalcante climbing onto the roof of the prison while his block was in the exercise yard. Despite an expanded perimeter and extensive law enforcement presence, there have been no confirmed sightings of Cavalcante captured on video overnight. The area of the search now includes the westernmost parts of Delaware County, with schools in Kennett Square and Pocopson reopening as the search area shifted. Plans are being considered to enclose the exercise yards following Cavalcante's escape, as another inmate had previously escaped in the same manner.
