Man confesses to crashing plane for YouTube fame.

Trevor Jacob, a YouTuber, pleaded guilty to obstructing a federal investigation after intentionally crashing his plane to get views on his YouTube channel. He had secured a sponsorship from a company and intended to promote their products in a video. He waited two days to report the crash to the National Transportation Safety Board and stalled the investigation by lying to officials. He faces up to 20 years in federal prison and has had his pilot's license revoked. The video, titled "I Crashed My Airplane," had nearly 3 million views as of Thursday.
