Man Brutally Kills Dog at Asheville Park While Owner Plays Pickleball

A man in Asheville, North Carolina, was charged with felony cruelty to animals after allegedly "eviscerating" and killing a dog at Weaver Park while its owner was playing pickleball. The unprovoked attack was reported to the police, who were able to identify and arrest the suspect with the help of community members. The dog died at the scene, and the man is currently held at the Buncombe County Detention Facility.
