Man Admits to Killing Wife with Hammer, Burying Her in Yard after Lying to Kids about Her Terminal Illness

A Nashville husband, Joseph Glynn, has been charged with beating his wife, Jackie Glynn, to death with a hammer and burying her body in a hole he had dug on their property, lying to their children about her leaving due to terminal illness. He allegedly drove her body to another property and dumped it in a hole, then told their children she had left because she was terminally ill. He is also accused of selling her belongings and contacting a realtor to sell the property where he buried her. Joseph Glynn is currently held on a $1,030,000 bond and faces charges of abuse of a corpse and evidence tampering.
