LA Man Charged with Treating Thousands Without Medical License and Impersonating Doctor for Years

Stephan Gevorkian, a California man, has been charged with five felony counts of practicing medicine without a certification for several years at his clinic, Pathways Medical in North Hollywood. The charges come after an undercover investigator saw Gevorkian for a consultation in November 2022. Gevorkian pleaded not guilty during his arraignment Friday and was released on his own recognizance on the condition that he not practice medicine. The case is also being investigated by the California Department of Consumer Affairs.
