Kansas Teen Wanted for Murder Turns Himself in After Fatal Shooting of Lawrence Teen

A 17-year-old suspect, Derrick Del Reed, turned himself in to the police in connection with the shooting death of a teen in Lawrence, Kansas. The victim was found wounded at an apartment complex and later died in the hospital. The shooting is believed to have occurred on Maple Lane. The suspect's car, a dark 2015 Chrysler 300, was also located and processed by investigators. The parties involved are believed to be known to each other.
