Judge Acquits Abby Michaels of All Charges.

Abby Michaels has been found not guilty on all charges related to the 2019 wrong-way crash that killed a family of three. The judge criticized the prosecution, media, and investigation, and ruled that Michaels was mentally ill at the time of the accident with borderline personality disorder, PTSD, psychogenic seizure disorder, and bipolar disorder, and was untreated for all of them. The defense claimed Michaels had a seizure or episode at the time of the accident, which the judge agreed with. The Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office expressed disappointment with the verdict and vowed to continue fighting for justice.
