Guilty Plea from YouTuber Who Crashed Plane for Views

YouTuber Trevor Jacob has agreed to plead guilty to obstructing a federal investigation after he deliberately crashed his plane in California's Los Padres national forest in 2021 to boost views on his YouTube channel. Jacob, who parachuted out of the plane before it crashed, initially lied to investigators about the incident. He later destroyed the wreckage and placed parts in trash cans to mislead investigators. Jacob faces up to 20 years in federal prison and has had his pilot license revoked.
