Georgia Army Base Lockdown Ends After Fatal Shooting Incident

A person was shot and killed during an active shooter incident at Fort Eisenhower, a U.S. Army installation in east Georgia. The base was placed on lockdown, which was later lifted after the suspect was apprehended. The shooting occurred in on-post housing and appears to be isolated.
