"Former Trump Official Mike Gill Dies in DC Carjacking Attack"

Mike Gill, a former Trump and Obama administration official, died after being the victim of a violent attempted car-jacking in Washington DC. The suspect, identified as 28-year-old Artell Cunningham, also carried out another car-jacking and a series of violent acts before being shot and killed by police. The former chief of staff to the chairman of the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission was remembered as a wonderful husband, father, and friend by the DC Board of Elections, where he served three terms as a board member. Former president Donald Trump addressed Gill's death and called for the federal government to take over DC in response to a surge in violent crimes and car-jackings in the District.
