Former Colorado Police Officer Arrested for Child Sex Assault and Update on Investigation

Dylan Miller, a former Durango Police Department officer, has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a child in Larimer County. Miller, who worked for the Durango Police Department for almost two years, resigned to join the Loveland Police Department. He was arrested on charges including kidnapping, sex assault on a child in a position of trust, and unlawful sexual conduct by a peace officer. The arrest follows a report from a 15-year-old girl and her family, who alleged that Miller sexually assaulted her while on duty in July.
