Former Arizona Senator Martha McSally Reveals Assault While Running in Iowa

Former Arizona Senator Martha McSally, an Air Force veteran, reported being molested while jogging along the Missouri River in Council Bluffs, Iowa. McSally described the attack in a video, stating that a man came up behind her, molested and fondled her until she fought him off. She chased the man into the brush but lost sight of him before police arrived. McSally, who previously disclosed being raped by a superior officer in the Air Force, said the assault tapped into past experiences of sexual abuse.
