Florida Man Arrested for Fatally Beating Senior at Golf Course After Hole-in-One Mishap

A 76-year-old man, Robert Edward Moore Jr., has been arrested for manslaughter after allegedly beating an 87-year-old man, Dean William Zook, on a golf course in Florida. The incident occurred when Zook accidentally hit a car that Moore believed was his own. Moore confronted Zook, punched him in the jaw, causing him to fall and sustain severe injuries. Zook later died from his injuries. Moore claimed he thought Zook was trying to flee the scene and was unaware of his age. Moore was arrested after authorities found an article about him scoring a hole-in-one, wearing the same clothes as during the incident. He is currently held on a $30,000 bond.
