Fatal Shooting at Pleasanton Home Depot During Theft Intervention

A man was shot and killed while trying to stop a theft in progress at a Pleasanton Home Depot. The victim tried to stop the theft and a struggle ensued, resulting in the shooting. The suspects were seen driving away from the scene and were later detained by Alameda County Sheriff's deputies. The victim was an associate of Home Depot, and the company expressed their condolences. The Alameda County Coroner has not yet released the victim's full name.
